SAP Payroll Clerk

Looking for a SAP Payroll Clerk looking for their next opportunity in Canberra.

This role is fully responsible for undertaking systems testing and reviewing the applicable work practices and system interactions to support a more efficient and effective implementation of the SAP HR and Payroll under the Corporate Systems Program.

CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE KNOWLEDGE AND STRONG SKILLS IN THE FOLLOWING:

- SAP Payroll development;
- Knowledge of SAP payroll processing systems;
- Subject matter expertise in SAP FI, Payroll and HR;
- Extensive QA skills (analysing specs, writing scripts, tracking results, tracking defects) at least 3 solid years of experience focused on testing;
- Writing and documentation experience;
- General technical IT knowledge.

THE DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:

- Work closely with the business on business process improvements;
- Establish and maintain confidential employee files;
- Process time and absence variations forms;
- Calculate salary and benefits;
- Verify payroll payments, variations, exceptions and deductions;
- Obtain appropriate payment signatures and authorisations;
- Assist with the preparation of payroll deduction distributions, including tax instalments;
- Run and file payroll related reports as required;
- Assist HR, Payroll and Recruitment as required.
