SAP MM PROCUREMENT/SCM/MASTER DATA CONSULTANT - DUTCH SPEAKING - AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS.

My client in Amsterdam, The Netherlands is looking for an SAP MM Procurement/Supply Chain Management/Master Data Consultant.

Background: This Organisation is continuously improving its ability to make operational decisions for product introductions, supply chain changes and to manage profitability. To ensure that decisions are taken on a qualitative and consistent set of data we are growing our data management capabilities.

This position reports to the Global Data Programme Manager. The role of the Transition Consultant is to support the Transition Organization with the turn up of new global template for Data Management and takeover of the new business into the Organization.

Main tasks/Responsibilities.

Implement global template for Data Management, on time and on budget as designed and solutioned for operating companies.
Work with the Transition Project Manager and the team to gather requirements, resolve issues, risks and change management during the engagement.
Develop documentation to support different phases of the transition methodology.
Lead and prepare workshops with local operating companies.
Develop and Execute Operational Transition Plan.
Coordinates multiple Transition Plans of different operating companies.
Monitor Progress on Transition activities.
Train staff on implemented tools and processes.
Promote industry best practices for implementation.
Build, maintain and manage successful relationships with key stakeholders.
Supply input on opportunities for improvement in the transition methodology.
Provide performance metrics and reports for management review and program development.
Actively champions data management projects and initiatives.

Profile.

Able to deliver on goals and objectives.
Understanding of data, data flows and processes.
Able to establish credibility across business and IT.
Able to translate Business requirements into solutions.
Able to gain involvement and participation on data management projects.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Willingness to travel.

Education & Experience.

Minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
Master data management experience required.
Experience with IT business process design, development and all phases of life cycle of project implementation.
Experience with project management.
Experience with SAP MDM is a plus.
Deep Business Domain (Commerce, Supply Chain, Finance) knowledge is a plus
