SAP MM Functional Expert

FOR OUR CLIENT LOCATED IN BRUSSELS, BELGIUM, WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A SAP FUNCTIONAL EXPERT MM

START: OCTOBER
DURATION: 3 MONTHS + 3 MONTHS EXTENSION
WORK LOCATION: BRUSSELS
PROJECT LANGUAGE: ENGLISH

We are looking for an SAP functional expert who is skilled in the following SAP modules:
- Material & Inventory Management (MM)
- Purchasing of industrial goods (MM)
- Purchasing of services (external service management)

Note that only candidates who are able to support all of the above modules will be evaluated by our client

PROJECTS
Active participation in a global WW project to integrate specialties chemicals business into the clients central ERP. Realization of the project will be done by an integrator.
You will be responsible for the SAP purchasing (MM) aspects
- Participation to workshops
- Validate of design and blueprinting
- Ensure consistency with current business model
- Ensure tests are correctly executed by integrator
- Ensure business tests preparation and execution
- Assist go-live activities if needed

MANAGEMENT OF SYSTEM EVOLUTIONS REQUESTED BY THE BUSINESS AND ASSIGNED BY THE PRODUCTION ACTIVITIES PROCESS EXPERTS:
ü Analysis of the request with different business representatives (Users, Key Users, Organization & Method Manager)
ü Design of a solution maximizing the use of SAP standard functionalities and minimizing in-house specific developments while checking consistency with existing model
ü Customizing (including the maintenance of structural data) and if needed, writing functional specifications for development
ü Testing
ü Transferring knowledge to support team and preparing go-live support plan with them
ü Delivering all necessary documentation and use the evolution management tools
ü Update critical processes in Solution manager if needed

EXPERIENCE/REQUIRED SKILLS
ü Deep knowledge and minimum 5 years experience in SAP ECC6 on several SAP modules : PM, MM,
ü Basic knowledge of SAP BW
ü Knowledge of integration and potential impacts with PS and FI/CO modules
Ongoing development of technical skills (new SAP functionalities, Business Process and Organization) is critical in staying competitive
