SAP MM Consultant, Materials Management, Data Migration

I am currently looking for an experienced SAP MM Materials Management Consultant to work on a 4 month contract for a market leading client of mine in Johannesburg South Africa.

THIS ROLE WOULD INCLUDE ALL TASKS RELATING TO THE COMPLETE DATA MIGRATION OF A NUMBER OF MM MASTER AND TRANSACTIONAL DATA OBJECTS.

PARTICULAR FOCUS IN THIS ROLE WILL BE ON THE MIGRATION OF MATERIALS AS A KEY OBJECT

This encompasses:

- The management of extractions from the Legacy environment (supported by SAP BODS)
- The validation of such extracts as well as business mappings and the application of those mappings in order to obtain final load files
- The loading of data load files into the new SAP environment and the problem-solving integral with this loading
- The generation of various validation reports to indicate to the business/auditors/third parties that the data has been correctly loaded.
- Direct and regular communication and integration with key business resources to manage any defects/cleansing/mapping items to be changed/fixed
- Proactive approach to foreseeing issues and risks and mitigating them with creative solutions and workarounds.
- Excellent problem solving to identify any integration with other modules or dependencies within the MM process
- The role will involve working very closely with a number of different parties including functional team members, business representatives and members of the global supply chain and master data organisations.

THIS ROLE WILL REQUIRE GOOD SKILLS IN EXCEL AS A NUMBER OF OUR VALIDATIONS/CHECKS ARE DONE IN THIS FORMAT
