SAP MES Consultant

Next Ventures is urgently looking for a SAP MES consultant for a project in the Netherlands.

The most important responsibilities/tasks of SAP MES consultant are:
1) Business process understanding, requirement gathering, proposing solution based on requirement and implementing agreed solution.
2) Liaison with other teams eg BI, Basis, and R/3 functional teams support to ensure E2E business process is configured and working as requested.
3) Communication to business stakeholder shopfloor engineers, (key) users on application and business process

MES/Mii consultant should have broad manufacturing execution experience and specific SAP MES experience in the integration with SAP ECC, good knowledge of Technical platform. Exposure to SAP ECC & business process.

The SAP MES consultant individually takes responsibility of implementing business requirement within the agreed time lines. Initiative, pro active behavior and coordination skills are required to fulfil the complete spectrum of the project.

The MES consultant is expected to work by the following rules:
IT applications ITIL based procedures (mainly Change Management), Rules of conduct, time writing rules etc. The MES consultant has basic knowledge of technical support tools (HP Service Manager as example)

Knowledge requirements:
Proven good command of written English in global community setting
Proven knowledge of planning/manufacturing processes, preferably with global company
Good hands on knowledge of SAP MES, integration with ECC & MES, Exposure to SAP Mii.
Demonstrated experience with business process knowledge
Customer focus, ability to communicate on different levels of organization
Exhibits a proactive approach towards issue identification and resolution. Must be detail oriented and thorough, while using sense and simplicity in communication to key users
Quick study of the subject area with a high knowledge retention capability is required so that there is an immediate return
