Edelway SA is a Swiss IT Services Consultancy. Our global multinational end-client based in the Basel area is currently looking to hire a SAP Material Master Data Administrator on a long-term basis.

Full time engagement at least until end of 8/2015

THE ROLE:

Creation and Maintenance of Material Master Data in SAP on the basis of project team applications taking into consideration the interface to the global system and all valid SOPs and global GMP requirements.

*Supports project teams for the application of and all changes to local and global material numbers in SAP
*Maintains application forms for Material Master Data.
*Acts as SPoC to the global System, creates own applications on the basis of Material Master Data applications from project teams and organizes the distribution of the data into SAP.
*Is the global contact person for the interface to the MARS System.
*Depending on the material type prior to the creation of a new material, he/she performs a proper investigation via CAS Number in TRD SAP and in MARS. This way he/she ensures that no material is duplicated in the system.
*Prior to the entry in the system, he/she performs the 4-eye check of GMP relevant Material Master Data using the original source documentation (eg in TEDI).
*On the basis of application forms generated by the project teams (eg process manager, project leader, formulation or analytical experts) he/she creates and maintains material master data in SAP and extends the materials to other line functions. For the data entry he/she considers project specific data defined in the application form and enters general data on the basis of available training documentation.
*Ensures that all "distribution flags" to other systems as KSO and GLIMS are properly set.
*Maintains the Material status (L1-L3)
*Is member in the TRD "Material Master Data Network" and represents PHAD in the respective TRD meetings.
*Acts as first contact person within his/her line function for all items regarding the Material Master Data in SAP.
*Supports the SAP Super users upon generation of training materials on Material Master Data and provides input to process and system optimization
*Executes End user and Super user trainings for application and creation of Material Master Data in SAP and also for general concepts regarding the Material Master Data in PHAD.
*Supports in SAP, eg Sourcing Master Data or general Plant Master Data on a need basis

YOUR PROFILE:
*B.S./B.A. (technical or business) or equivalent
*Fluent German & adequate knowledge of English (oral and written) is required
*Minimum of 3 successful years of experience in data management
*Adequate knowledge of software (eg SAP) and computer tools
