SAP Manufacturing Consultant

This position is for an SAP business process/technical role providing solutions in the ERP Manufacturing Solutions space. The focus of the position will be to serve as a technical and functional subject matter expert in analysing, designing, and developing solutions for SAP enhancements generated from the SAP Continuous Improvement and SAP Global Deployment areas.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ability to analyze SAP system solutions supporting Manufacturing and Warehouse Management
- Recommending strategies that are both compliant and efficient in accordance with company compliance guidelines.
- Working with users to define user requirements, functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Reviewing and analysing solution enhancement requests to determine complexity and provide resource/cost estimates.
- Developing user and technical specifications to support development of approved solutions.
- Performing process impact analysis as well as related SAP functional/technical activities (design, prototype, test, implement) for enhancement requests.
- Authoring and execution of test scripts, required to maintain a validated system state.
- Clearly articulate and demonstrate SAP functionality to a broad stakeholder group
- Translating and influencing business and functional solution requirements with stakeholders
- There will be extensive international travel for this position

SKILLS:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor's Degree
- 8+ years of SAP ECC Production Planning, Warehouse Management, Materials Management experience including excellent functional knowledge and configuration skill.
- Must have excellent understanding of cross-functional integration among SAP PP, MM, WM QM.
- Strong SAP Manufacturing Master Data knowledge in areas of Material Master, Bill of Materials, Recipes, Production Versions and Resources.
- Excellent writing and communication skills for technical document writing
- Global Pharmaceutical industry SAP implementation experience preferred.
- Familiar with software development life cycle.
- Materials management - Warehouse Management, SAP

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

- SAP ECC Configuration(PP, MM, WM)
- Integration between SAP ECC and other systems (example WMS, MES, Swiss log etc.)
- Understanding of ABAP programming,systems development and Application integration
- Understanding of IDOC processing/troubleshooting
- Use of HP Quality Center a plus.
