SAP INVENTORY CONTROLLER - 6 MONTH CONTRACT - BASED IN BRISBANE

An exciting opportunity for a SAP Inventory Controller to join a widely recognised entertainment company on a 6 month contract basis to start ASAP.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with management to ensure MRP process is accurate, consistent and business relevant.
- Prepare purchase requisitions and purchase orders utilising electronic system.
- Work independently and with others to assure accurate ordering of materials that comply with government regulations and company policy.
- Monitor inventory system for adequate and accurate inventory levels.
- Assure accuracy of the data in the inventory system and correct information as necessary.
- Initiate and cause the implementation of new systems or procedures for improvement of controlling stock.
- Maintain records and create reports. Make recommendations to establish, revise, or delete inventory items through interfacing and reviews conducted with other internal departments.
- Interface with internal customers, external customers and suppliers. Including but not limited to purchasing, receiving and accounts payable.
- Inventory Management (Inventory Movement and Reconciliation)
- Identify and implement continuous improvements with the business unit
- Resolve escalated, difficult or complex inventory issues
- Review & audit pallet control to eliminate pallet losses
- Maintain inventory master data

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum of 3 years Inventory Control experience
- Skilled within SAP MM and inventory management
- Excellent team player and customer service driven
- Problem Solving/troubleshooting experience
