SAP Infrastructure Service Delivery Manager- 6 Month Contract

SAP INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER- 6 MONTH CONTRACT

Our client requires a SAP Infrastructure Service Delivery Manager to be based at their offices in Belgium.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS THE SAP INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER WILL BE:

Support the SAP Technical Manager in setting strategies for service delivery that support the strategic needs of the organization.

Define scope of the project, deliverables and detailed planning and schedule in agreement with IT strategy and business needs.

Ensures that regular progress reports are produced for key stakeholders in agreed formats and as required

Coordinate the IT activities (infrastructure, development, interfaces, system design, testing, data load) related to the SAP change initiatives that will be delivered by/together with the regional Centre-of-Excellence (IT Supply); eg SAP Archiving project, SAP Data Refresh tools and coordination, SAP Technical Upgrade

Proactively manage changes in the project scope, identify potential issues and define contingency plans and mitigations

Oversee approved project budgets to ensure timely reporting against plan.

Ensure smooth transition from project to service delivery
-

Ensure alignment between the release plan and the project implementation and play an active role in it.

THE ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE SAP INFRASTRUCTURE DELIVERY MANAGER ARE:

-

Program and project management to recognised standards eg PMI or equivalent
-

Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, science or a related study, or equivalent experience

Understanding of SAP Functions (HR, Finance, Procurement, Support, Development)

Understanding of SAP Components and their relationship to each other (ERP, BW, PI, SRM, Portal, Industry Solutions)
-

Capacity to think out of the box and to generate solutions
-

Ability to deal with ambiguity within a changing environment and experience within a Matrix organizational structure

Strong written and oral communication skills, combined with strong interpersonal skills
-

Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
-

Excellent technical architecture and technical support documentation skills

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

High integrity, work ethics and commitment

Fluency in English language in addition to your mother language (Dutch/French) - both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate clearly
