SAP Financial Business Specialist, Pharma, FI-CO (Contract)

On behalf of our client, a world-leading pharmaceutical company based in Switzerland, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced

SAP FINANCIAL BUSINESS SPECIALIST, PHARMA, FI-CO (CONTRACT)

You will be responsible for:

- Participate in the operational oversight of the SAP implementation to ensure services are at expected levels with a clear customer focus, including handling the exceptions
- Ensure the relation between project mode and operational mode to increase effectiveness and efficiency of the SAP project
- Lead master data and balance sheet clearing to sustain a highly effective and efficient accounting and reporting process
- Manage client satisfaction assessment and follow-up process
- Proactively identify and solve issues related to IT/SAP
- Ensure collaboration with key stakeholders
- Pro-actively collaborate between the different
- Act as business owner Finance/Controlling over the companies' ERP system ensuring correct Finance SAP accesses as well as the set up/maintenance
- Cooperation with other business units in driving X-BUs efficiencies and standardization
- Ensure to cultivate a customer service focus culture
- Coach other team members and ensure a strong team spirit
- Ensure compliance, regulatory requirements and implementation of internal guidelines
- Promote a "strong and no exception" control environment

For this role you have the following background:

- University Degree in Business Administration or Accounting preferred or equivalent
- 3-5 years' experience in financial reporting or accounting
- Knowledge and practice of IFRS
- Strong SAP experience (ie Key User for FI/CO) and Microsoft office knowledge
- Fluency in English
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in large scale multinational Matrix environment
- Willing to travel

This is a contract position for 6 months with possibility of extension.
