SAP FICO Consultant Italy

Job Description
The project requires a senior Italian speaking SAP FICO Consultant with in-depth functional knowledge of SAP Financial and Controlling processes and detailed knowledge of Italian financial and regulatory practice. As well as possessing strong communication and interpersonal skills it is essential that candidates have completed a number of full life cycle implementations (8 minimum) and offer at least 10 years experience in the areasof SAP FICO, especially in SAP AP, AR, GP and New GL. Experience of purchase to pay cycle is also essential coupled with good integration skills into the logistic modules.

Additional knowledge and skills are:

- Knowledge of Italian fiscal and legal/regulatory practices.
- In-depth knowledge of finance and accounting best-practice
- Configuring SAP FI/CO/ECCS modules and integration setup with other modules.
- Leading a range of FICO developments and providing guidance to our clients on SAP best-practice.
- Optimising the use of SAP FICO
- Writing functional specifications on FRICEW objects including Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Workflow.
- Conducting unit testing and integration testing with other SAP modules. - Leading data conversion and master data setup activities.
- Managing training and user manuals and documentation.

Other:
- Italian Language Fluent
- Functional experience must be in excess of 10 years.
- Key knowledge will be in SAP FICO but knowledge of Supply Chain Management incl. SAP Materials Management and SAP Warehouse Management would be preferred.
- A broad awareness of SAP generally and how it all fits together including SAP SD (sales & distribution), SAP FI (finance), SAP CO (controlling) etc.
