SAP Enterprise Solution Architect

My client has an excellent long term contract role is available for an experience SAP Enterprise Solution Architect on the Gold Coast. Working as a key part of the PMO you will be responsible for providing leadership in design, development and operational transition of ICT projects managed by the PMO.

YOU RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver an ICT solutions that supports and aligned with the objectives of the ICT Program
- To provide a clear, well defined, sustainable, adaptable and extensible solutions to address complex business needs.
- To complete Integration Architecture deliverable/s including identifying and capturing interactions and dependencies of applications being developed within the PMO with ancillary and Legacy application software, hardware infrastructure used or assumed as required, and ICT support.
- Provide expert ICT application and technology architecture whilst ensuring alignment of initiatives with enterprise application, development and infrastructure architectural standards and corporate objectives.
- Represent projects in discussions with vendors on system implementation in order to maintain a complete solution architecture.
- Collaborate with the enterprise architecture team to understand and give effect to the high level strategic requirements
- Ensure that any enhancements to enterprise architecture are identified
- Work closely with functional consultant and technical resources to exploit any opportunities for collaboration or reuse of work performed across the suite of Projects and Programs.
- Work closely with the Business Analysts to understand collected requirements
- Work closely with the Program functional streams to identify and design appropriate system solutions
- Quality control the solution design proposed and provide constructive solutions.
- Support of project initiatives and provide input into the development of cost breakdowns for systems solution issues.
- Provide input into defining key test scenarios and completion of verification testing to ensure solution is complete and meets the architectural requirements.
- Demonstrate effective management techniques in supervising, organising and coordinating complex technical tasks.
- Provide solution direction in relation to ICT initiatives to Customers (eg Project Managers) to assist in the development of strategic and project plans

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum of 10 years experience as a functional and integration consultant in the area of complex SAP ERP implementation projects is essential (Procurement - MM, Procurement- IM, Finance, Plant Maintenance).
- Experience in implementing non-SAP systems (ie OpenText xECM, MS Sharepoint, ESRI GIS, Hummingbird, Windows 7, Office 2010).
- Minimum TOGAF V9.0 (or similar) certification with demonstrated experience
- Minimum 3+ E2E SAP project implementations of varying size and complexity
- Appropriate business and computing qualifications and substantial knowledge and/or minimum 6 years experience as a solution architect in a large complex organisation on activities of comparable scale and complexity.
- Demonstrated experience in design, configuring and delivery of enterprise solutions supporting business transformation objectives
- Expertise in analysis techniques and methodologies
- Expertise in solution designing is essential
- Proven experience and success in contracts of a similar size and scope
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional task management skills
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in all aspects of organisational change management
- Experience/knowledge of the applications of IT in local government would be highly regarded

This role is due to start ASAP and will be offered to the successful candidate on an initial 6 month contract.
