SAP Development Architect - HANA UI5 ABAP

For a number of new development projects, our client is currently looking for a development architect with previous development experience in SAP ABAP, UI5 and HANA.

As a service manager working between the business owners and development teams (internally and externally) assessing business requirements and ensuring the correct development processes are followed. You will monitor code, development status (timelines and budget), implementation status and report to various stakeholders.

You will also help with prototyping phases, ensuring adherence to development and compliance standards advising both business owners and development teams.

This role is not a hands-on development position but requires a strong understanding of development methodologies within ABAP, UI5 and HANA as well as software development architecture and delivery.

Strong communication skills are essential and previous experience of working with outsourced or off-shore development teams or suppliers is expected.
