SAP Data Migration Lead

A highly regarded QLD Government Department is looking to appoint a SAP DATA MIGRATION LEAD to join their existing IT Department for an October start. This role will allow the successful incumbent to be an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team and play an important part in developing a data migration strategy. 

Your core responsibilities will include:

- Conduct data analysis activities including data assessment, data profiling, data cleansing, data remediation, data extract and transformation and data reconciliation, conceptual modelling and deliver in a timely manner, the required artefacts for each phase of analysis
- Specify the technical requirements for data analysis in the area of extraction and transformation and Data loading
- Perform data migration activities
- Provide knowledge to assist with the business and internal project teams in completing the data collection through reconciliation

To be considered for this great opportunity the successful candidate will have:

- 10 years' experience in SAP with at least 5 years' experience as a Data Migration Lead
- Minimum of 2 full life cycle implementations
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the areas of Datamodelling, Data Quality Assurance, and data reconciliation in a complex, multidisciplinary organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in applying Data Quality Methodologies to design, implement and reconcile the migration of large quantities of data into complex applications and/or interim storage solutions.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills with particular emphasis in the areas of team collaboration, team mentoring, consultation, negotiation, influencing, conflict resolution and assertiveness in order to resolve issues and meet changing customer needs.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.

On offer to the successful applicant will be an initial 12month contract with opportunities to extend. Rates will be determined by skills and experience working on similar projects or environments.
