SAP Data Migration Expert
Portland Resourcing is seeking a SAP Data Migration Expert for a 4-6 month contract starting early April for a 4-6 month contract.
Our client is at the beginning of a brand new SAP ECC6 Template rollout in Sweden and in the in the process of ramping up their SAP team.
Responsibilities:
*Participate in the analysis of functional requirements to identify what data is required from the Legacy systems landscape
*Liaise with the local business and ensure their participation as required
*Specify, design, build, test and document appropriate data migration tools using LSMW and BODS
*Load cleansed and enriched data into the target test and production systems across the SAP landscape
*Produce and maintain all related documentation including System Requirements, System Design, Test Data, Test Plan
Background/experience:
Essential:
*Detailed understanding of the Data Migration from Non SAP to SAP, technical skills in LSMW and ABAP. BODS would be very helpful.
*Experienced at least 1 life cycle of data migration for large SAP implementations within the Data Migration team
Swedish language is essential for this role due to interaction with the local business.
