SAP Data Migration Consultants x 2 - ETL

SAP Data Migration Consultants x 2 required to join a new large scale global SAP deployment for an industry leader. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with travel in the APAC region.

Good local rates and excellent expenses provided when travelling; flights (Business Class when over 3 hours), accommodation, per diem; meals, transport, laundry etc initial 6 month contract with a view to extend a further 6 months.

Deliverables;
*Acts as a regional point of contact for all Data Migration Loads and Cutovers
*Responsible for managing the Data Migration Runbook for all Data Migration Loads and Cutovers
*Responsible for managing Load and Cutover Actions, Issue and Risk log and overseeing that issues raised are resolved on time
*Co-ordinates the activities of all responsible Global, Regional and Local parties on a Load and Cutover.
*Provides expert knowledge on the execution of Data Migration testing, data validation and reconciliation. Supports test cycle planning and the actual test cycles, ensuring all data migration defects are logged/assigned correctly and resolved quickly
*Supports the Regional Data Migration and Business Readiness Teams to ensure the business are fully prepared for a Cutover
*Measure, monitors and escalates as required the progress of activities and products that form the inputs for a data migration load
*Coordinates regular status/update meetings with relevant stakeholders
*Responsible for quality assurance of data migration products, documents, project plans and checklists
*Ensures use of Data Migration Methodology, processes and tools are adhered to
*Responsible for validating data migration change requests
*Responsible for documenting and presenting improvement recommendations for the data migration processes

Skills and Experience;
*Have hands on SAP experience in any module - SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP PP, SAP PM, SAP HCM etc
*Have experience being a Data Migration Lead for big MNC projects
*Have had minimum 3-5 project life cycle in the role of Data Migration Lead
*Have strong Project Management experience
*Extensive knowledge and experience in ETL, data migration methodology and testing best practice
*Extensive experience in the field of data migration and system go-live
*Full life cycle, data migration experience across a global multi-system landscape
*Knowledge of SAP and HPQC an advantage
*Experience of IBM RTL toolset an advantage
*Ability to work in cross-functional, geographically-dispersed teams
*Has experience working in a complex, multi-layered, multi-international organization
*Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex messages simply to key stakeholders
*Ability to manage stakeholders effectively in a complex global business
*Good prioritisation and time management skills to meet delivery deadlines in a multi-task environment

Must be eligible to travel to ASEAN countries - Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Korea, Vietnam & Philippines.
