blue chip client is urgently looking for a SAP Data Migration consultant
Skills:
Experienced in SAP Data Migration/Rollout projects
Experienced in SAP Finance Migration Objects
o Open Customer Invoice Items
o Open Vendor Invoice
o Open GL Items
o Fixed Assets
o PL Items
o Cost/Profit Centers/
Experienced in SAP migration tools
o LSMW
o Migration cockpit
o ALE/IDOCS
o Programs
Experienced in SAP Interfaces and tools is a nice to have
o BAPI/BADI
ETL
Main responsibilities:
Data Analysis Processes
Ensure that queries relating to Data Migration are resolved with the appropriate parties. This should cover all stages of the processes from legal entity mapping to detailed data mapping and data transformation.
Facilitate as-is data definition data from the current Legacy systems. This should include historical data.
Facilitate data mapping of the Legacy system data fields to the new system data fields. This should include detailed specifications of any data transformation required to support the Data Migration process.
Work with Legacy system stakeholders/business representatives to support the data migration processes.
Work with different functional and technical stakeholders to support the data migration processes.
Data Migration Technical Build facilitation and testing.
Responsible for the transformation of the agreed open and historical data
Data Quality and checks facilitation post migration
Specify and manage the requirement approach and approach to data cleansing - prior to any migration activity
Work with the stakeholders to resolve any issues surrounding the data migration activity
Support system testing and deployment testing in the following areas - Mock Migrations, and user acceptance and defect resolution
Analyze and verify the reconciliation process for data migration.
Weekly reporting to the program management team
