SAP Data Management Consultant w/Information Analyzer 8.5

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supports global data management activities related to SAP specialized deployments.
- Acts as part of the Data Cleansing group within the Data Management team which is primary focused on technical aspects of guiding sites team through the data cleansing methodology.
- Responsible for providing training to site teams, running data profiling reports, developing reports using SQL and DataStage, and providing guidance on cleaning methodology with focus on accuracy, completeness, uniqueness, and obsolescence rules.
- Effectively trains and guides a team through the process of creating moderate to complex profiling reports, troubleshooting common errors, and developing reports for end users.

SKILLS

Expertise in Information Analyzer 8.5 is required; must have 5+ years of experience with Information Analyzer 8.5 creating data profiling reports, and 5+ years of experience with either Oracle, DB2 or SQL databases. Experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) methodologies required. Must have experience with gathering user requirements and creating business requirement reports. Good organizational, time management and team working skills needed, with strong problem solving and analytical skills. Clear written and verbal communication skills are critical for success in this role.

Desired Qualifications:
Experience with data cleansing projects; experience with Mainframe systems; Computer Science Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; and intermediate skills with Microsoft Visio and Excel.
