Data extractor is the link between our clients commercial databases (mainly SAP), the project team and their experts.
In this role requirements from the clients project members are collected. Together they determine data sources and parameters.
Based on these requirements raw data is collected from several systems. Due to complexity of systems and enormous data sizes this roles requires someone that likes to do deep investigation in data.
Some requirements:
- Extensive SAP knowledge (has worked with SAP before, know how to extract data)
- Database expert. Experience in working with huge data sets
- Structured way of working (planning, action lists, keep stakeholders informed)
- Knowledge of financial and commercial processes and terms
- Can manage others in the form of an off-shore India team
- Able to validate data and do some first analyses
