SAP DATA CENTRE (HOSTING AND MIGRATION) TECH ARCHITECT/TEAM LEAD

OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR A SAP DATA CENTRE TECH ARCHITECT/TEAM LEAD TO JOIN THEIR PROJECT IN OSLO. PLEASE NOTE YOU HAVE TO ALREADY BE BASED IN OSLO TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.

FOR THE FIRST 2 MONTHS IT WILL BE A PART TIME PROJECT. AFTER IT WILL BE FULL TIME FOR THE REST OF THE DURATION OF THE CONTRACT

KEY SKILLS:

- Excellent understanding of SAP solutions, data centre design and standards
- Senior knowledge of Data centre migration project life cycle and methodologies
- SAP Architecture design and implementation skills in the following areas: System Migrations, Data centre consolidation and virtualization, Networks, Storage, Cloud and Business Continuity
- Good understanding of hybrid, multi-tenant and hosted data center operations, security and certifications
- Strong understanding of Software Driven Infrastructure including but not limited to software defined networks, operations automation and reconfiguration at hardware levels
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of Data centre efficiency and optimization of data centre performance
- Working knowledge of High-density data center environment
- Strong understanding of the current and future SAP solutions architecture, including the integration and dependencies, and preparations needed for a successful DC Move
- Project management skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Advice on vendor proposal/selections on plans and methods for the SAP hosting migration
- Leads the development of road maps and cut over plans for the data centre migration of all SAP related application across platforms
- Lead the preparation and clean up the SAP systems and landscape prior to the DC move
- Coordination of vendors and specialized resources at transition and transformation phase
- Works as part of a transition and transformation team and provides guidance within the SAP doman to other project team members.
