SAP Data Analyst

My client a leading Gold Coast employer is looking for anexperienced Data Analyst to join their team on an initial 6 month contract role on the Gold Coast.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE:

- Proposing data cleansing, data remediation, data migration and data reconciliation activities to improve the quality of the data
- Demonstrate effective management techniques in organising and coordinating complex data tasks.
- Work with subject matter experts and business users to understand the business purpose and legislative requirements of source data and to ensure that any proposed consolidation and transition of data will meet the business requirements.
- Provide expert data analysis consultancy services whilst ensuring alignment with enterprise application, development and infrastructure architectural standards and corporate objectives
- Assist with technical specifications for the data extract, transformation and load requirements to ensure that the mapping of the source to the target data platforms is accurately completed.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary internal project teams

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- System Architect or similar Datamodelling Tool
- TOAD (V 9.x)
- SAP Business Objects Data Profiling Tools (Data Insight XI 3.0 v12.1.0.0) or similar Profiling tool
- Data Services (Data Integrator, Data Quality, Data Federator) or similar ETL tool
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated experience and substantial knowledge in provision of Data Analysis and Migration services in a complex, multi-disciplinary organisation.
- Proven experience gained within a multi-disciplinary function including the ability to provide and seek expert advice, coordinate and manage data analysis activities and resources effectively to achieve work goals to meet deadlines and commitments, and establish and monitor outcomes that meet customer and organisational requirements.
- Experience/knowledge of the application of ICT in a Local Government environment.
