SAP cutover Manager

My client a leading Brisbane employer is looking for an SAP Cutover manager to join their team on a initial 6 month contract basis with likelihood of extension.

PURPOSE & SCOPE OF POSITION

To perform the role of SAP Cutover Manager for an SAP Asset Management release of an ERP/Property Program. More specifically:

- Develop and communicate a detailed cutover plan in accordance with existing cutover framework and principles as well as the coordination and execution of this cutover plan
- Clearly identify and articulate associated cutover risks and issues including timely escalation to the Project Director as required
- Ability in clearly planning, managing and executing a detailed cutover plan encompassing all of the business and technical activities required to enable the final production go-live
- A clear understanding of the ERP cutover processes, communication plan, resource requirements, execution steps to drive a successful cutover
- Ensuring all technical/functional steps have been followed throughout the cutover activities
- Provide both solution and technical input and guidance to other streams within the project as well as to the business in the area of SAP cutover
- Participate in multi-disciplinary internal and external project teams
- Proactively provide consultancy services that support Council's business and ICT needs for the ERP/Property Program
- Work with the other SAP functional and technical consultants to ensure and deliver a fully integrated SAP solution that is aligned with the Council's business requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- Tertiary and appropriate computing qualifications and substantial knowledge and a minimum of 10 years experience in the various SAP functional modules
- Minimum 5 full SAP life cycle implementation as a cutover consultant within large complex organisations
- Extensive experience in the implementation of large scale SAP systems
- Proven experience and success in contracts of a similar size and scope
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional task management skills
- Experience/knowledge of the applications of IT in local government would be highly regarded
