SAP CRM/IS Retail/IS Telecom/SAP Pi Consultant Wanted

For our international end client based in The Hague we're looking for a SAP Finance/Logistics Consultant:

The all-round SAP analyst is responsible for the quality of the delivery of development and configuration solutions as well 3rd line support
The client uses the SAP R/3 (finance and logistics), SAP CRM, SAP IS-Retail, SAP IS-Telecom and SAP Pi systems.

The all-round SAP analyst must be able to support all phases of a project life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment of solutions, and post-production support/maintenance functions.

This involves a lot of communication with the IT and customer departments: Finance, Procurement, Sales, Customer Services, Supply Chain Management, Retail and Technology. Mainly in the requirements engineering and solution design phase as well as the integration and user acceptance testing phases.

And it involves giving input to-, joint solution design with- and reviewing and challenging of the deliveries by- the onsite and (primarily) offshore resources of our partner Cognizant (because in principle all actual development and configuration deliveries are executed by Cognizant).

Position activities
Advising clients on the use and possibilities of the existing SAP systems.
Provide input to and support requirements engineering, feasibility study writing and solution design.
Anticipate and resolve project and support services risks and obstacles; recommend solutions. Communicate with customers, colleagues and partners on requirements, problems, project status and issues.
Delivery of high quality and timely systems solutions, configuration and business process results within a project or change request.
Review and challenge feasibility studies, detailed designs, technical designs and SAP deliveries. Validate the compliancy of the suggested design with the existing architecture guidelines and that the design is future proof.
Provide input to process innovations and achieve implementation
Communicate with colleagues, management and business unit(s) on requirements, problems, project status and issues. Support end users.
Work closely with the end-user security authorization administrator during development and implementation of end-user security objects.
Conduct presentations and training sessions to client audiences and professional peers.
Analyze test results and defects resolution.
Analyze production problems as they occur in the SAP system and propose improvement changes.

Position Requirements:
Key competences and skills:
Mastery level of knowledge of current and future SAP capabilities and solutions with an emphasis on SAP R/3, SAP CRM, SAP Retail, SAP IS-T, SAP Pi and SAP Solution Manager.
Minimum 10 years relevant experience with at least 3 different functional areas within SAP with proven ability of customizing and application of OSS notes.
Minimal 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development, Netweaver and XI/PI. Familiarity/experience with SAP BW, SAPEnterpriseportal, EBP (SRM), APO and SAP workflow is an advantage.
Minimal 3 years of experience with working in outsourcing and off shoring teams.
Intimate knowledge (you've done it yourself) of 2 or more full development life cycle SAP implementations for substantial organizations.
The ability to bridge the gap between non-technical customers and the software developers, through excellent communication.
The ability to negotiate and reach consensus between demanding customers and the possibilities/limitations of the SAP department and technology.
Ability to develop functional specifications for development activities including interfaces and enhancements.
Excellent in English language. Excellent in DUTCH language is preferred.
General IT knowledge, eg ITIL-Foundation, Prince 2, ISTQB, etc.
Experience in telecom business.
Experience with service oriented architectures.
