SAP Consultant PP/QM/WM/Utilities/Test/Support

For our client in the utilities industry we are looking for a SAP consultant (PP/QM/WM)

Start date: mid March

Language: Fluent in French and English

Location: Brussels

Duration: 6 months (possible extention)

You will work on a global SAP application used by approximately 2000 user worldwide (Europe, Asia & Middle East). The solution you will work on is mainly used by 3 departments: Demand Planning, Plant Logistics, Plant Purchasing. It may be nescesarry to travel to other sites then Brussels for short term missions to give courses or to understand some specific requirements. Besides participating in a European project involving the PP module, you will also give third level support and courses to end-users.

Tasks:
- Participation to a European project (focus on PP knowledge - participation to integration tests/user acceptance tests/cutover activities)
- Design of a solution maximizing the use of SAP standard functionalities and minimizing in-house specific developments while checking consistency with existing model
- Customizing (including the maintenance of structural data) and if needed, writing functional specifications for development
- Testing
- Transferring knowledge to Business Support team and preparing go-live support plan with them
- Delivering all necessary documentation and use the internal project management methodology
- Particular attention should be given to SOX compliance
- Participation in projects following project management methodology (depending of opportunities and existing workload)
- Work with incident management tool and promote coaching rather than intensive interventions in production system. Ensure knowledge transfer.
- Contribution to retain internal knowledge : writing technical documentation, sharing experience with internal team
- Regular Reporting to the Project Leader
