SAP Competency Center Manager
Our global multinational end client in the Geneva/Lausanne area is now looking for experienced English speaking SAP Delivery/Competency Center Manager.
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Geneva
THE ROLE
The Head of SAP CC role ensures that the stream leads, specialists and other third party providers eg contractors, consultants and offshore companies deliver their responsibilities in line with agreed project plans, and to promote the effective and efficient use of SAP to the business users.
*Strategically own and manage the Global SAP programs, contributing to the global SAP strategy.
*Manage the related SAP project portfolio, continuous improvement and operations, maximizing the business value and ensuring full compliance.
*Contribute to the SAP strategy through the ownership and management of the Global SAP programs.
*Support the SAP deployments by providing the necessary support and expertise Prepare the SAP deployments through appropriate continuous improvements Global SAP projects.
*Own the Global portfolio of SAP programs (Functional and Development) and influence/persuade for its acceptance.
*Lead the SAP planning process, ensuring sound business cases and analysing key business initiatives and informational needs that support, improve and/or transform business operations, processes and strategy Initiate, lead and support projects and their delivery in accordance with project goals, time scales and costs in compliance with internal methodologies Global SAP Operations.
*Develop and deliver support in accordance with Service Level Agreements based on business requirements. Work closely with business partners in understanding and responding to both long-term and short-term business goals and strategy
*Challenge business partners and push back when necessary to ensure the IT solution responds to their business needs while being cost-efficient.
*Collaborate and negotiate with external partners to support system operations/development, ensuring reliability, competence, flexibility and cost effectiveness Ensure the continuous improvement, rationalization and management of existing systems and operations Ensure proper implementation of global standards, policies and systems platforms.
*Maintain Global SAP system compliance (CSV, SOX, etc.)
YOUR PROFILE
*Degree in Information Technology, Finance or equivalent MBA level thinking an advantage.
*Fluent in English (Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage).
*Demonstrated leadership skills.
*5 - 7 years proven management experience within a Matrix organization.
*Proven track record in managing large and/or complex teams and complex international SAP projects and roll-outs.
