SAP CO - PC Senior Consultant

Responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all CO and CO-PC activities. Continuously improve the modules. Act as 2nd Level support to Top Users and act as liaison with Process Owners to assess business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for effective and efficient functionality of the CO landscape:

- Support high-level analysis of customer business processes and requirements and architect custom end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements, managing functional and technical support and prioritization across IT projects and on-going user support
- Work closely with all other Global IT Applications functions, development teams, external partners and business units to ensure successful project completion.
- Responsible to create documentation for implementation and updates in the SAP and SAP eco-system as described in the Change Management process; while completing the configuration and initial testing of the Change Requests approved.
- Support Business Testing and Training team in creating test scenarios and user manuals for new and updated processes.
- Support Access Control team in creating roles for different user functionalities.
- Support Business Intelligence Team in defining reporting needs.
- Responsible to analyze the Events, Incidents, Problems, Request, Access and Changes escalated as 2nd or 3rd level support from the Global Help Desk.

Skills and attributes

Excellent understanding of IT Application architectures

- Strong customer-service orientation
- Vast experience of SAP CO especially CO-PC (Product Costing) preferably in the chemical/pharma industries
- Fluent written and oral English language skills
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
- Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to work in a global, team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Basic project management experience

Location is Netherlands with travels from time to time
