SAP BW SEM BCS Functional Consultant

IDPP IS LOOKING FOR A SAP SEM BCS FUNCTIONAL EXPERT FOR A 6 MONTH PROJECT WITH IMMEDIATE DECEMBER START BASED IN DUBLIN, IRELAND.

PROJECT: SAP BCS implementation/roll out

START: ASAP! Latest possible start date is 2/01/13

DURATION: 6 months

LOCATION: Dublin

RATE: Negotiable

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

SAP BW SEM BCS has been implemented and configured. This project is to test, train and roll out to the business. Due to a local lack of knowledge a subject matter expert is required to consult and advise on best use and to train local staff on SAP BW SEM BCS.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Introduce colleagues to BCS
- Train and guide business users on the usage of BCS
- Advise on best usage of BCS
- Where necessary customize/develop BCS solutions and/or interfaces to fit business requirements
- Produce and maintain appropriate documentation on BCS processes, customizations, enhancements, etc.
- Ensure effective communication within the team

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Formal SAP SEM BCS qualification is preferred
- Strong finance background
- English (both spoken and written)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- Delivery of consolidation projects in a international, multi-currency, multi-tax, multi-standard (IFRS, GAAP, SOX) environment
- Advised and presented to senior stakeholders (HR and other director level leaders)
- Worked in international corporate environments
- Be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders in remote locations
