SAP BW HANA Consultant

My client as an exciting new role for a SAP BW HANA Consultant on an 3 month contract based in Netherlands.

Location of work: Eindhoven, The Netherlands
Start date: ASAP
Period: 3 months with option to extend
Availability: Full time

Key Responsibilities/duties
- Create Technical designs based on a functional design in close collaboration with the Business Analyst
- Create the data models in SAP BW on HANA to implement the requirements
- Create required data structures (HANA views) and (SQL)-coding to implement the requirements

Key skills required
- Bachelors or master's degree in Information Technology or Engineering
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in developing models in SAP BW (on HANA). Should have relevant SAP BW on HANA experience
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in developing in HANA Enterprise. Creation of Graphical Calculation models, CDS views, SQL-logic, access to source systems
- Experience in implementing information requirements in SAP BW or HANA Enterprise
- Strong knowledge of SQL. Knowledge of CDS, table functions, decision tables preferred
- Common understanding of HANA concepts, including limitations and strengths
- Basic knowledge of SAP BO and Spotfire preferred

Desirable/Beneficial skills
- HANA certification required
- Motivated and enthusiastic team player, showing strong client-orientation and commitment to excellence, and has a demonstrated ability to perform in high-pressure environments
- Understands the importance of developing according to standards, guidelines and proper documentation of developments and has excellent development skills (strong 'getting it done' mentality)
- Demonstrated strong communication skills (fluent in English, preferably also in Dutch) in a larger international IT organisation
