SAP BW CONSULTANT (FINANCIAL REPORTING/FI/CO)

SAP BW Consultant - Contract 6 months - Amsterdam, Netherlands - €400 - €700

Hydrogen are currently searching for an experienced SAP BW (finance) consultant for a project based just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands.

This SAP Finance reporting specialist will be responsible for working with senior business users and other members of the development team to analyse, design, build, implement and support new Finance reporting solutions.

Key Skills Include:

- Must have experience in SAP BW/BI in relation to the FI/CO application area
- Essential knowledge of SAP R/3 FI/CO processes and data model
- Expert in SAP BW/BI Datamodelling, data loading and query writing in releases 3.5 and 7.0
- Expert level knowledge of Analysis Process Designer (APD)
- Expert level knowledge of Open Hub data extraction
- Familiarity with ABAP
- Familiar with report writing and presentation techniques
- CCAB or CIMA (or similar) membership
- Use of tools for extracting data from external non-sap systems (eg UDC)

Key Roles and Responsibilities will include:

- Analyses and models user requirements, specifies information flows, processes and procedures, data objects, dataloads and dialogues within and between SAP R/3, SAP BW and other external source systems and reporting tools
- Converts business requirements into more detailed functional and technical designs
- Constructs or modifies, tests and corrects BW Data models and queries
- Interprets, builds and executes test plans
- Defines the BW objects that comprise an integration build
- Documents all work in accordance with required standards
- Takes a lead part in client/user meetings in presenting issues and solutions both orally and in writing
- Assists in defining, planning and justifying (in business terms) automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes
- Provides technical support to the dataload process and support to query users within the user community

This is initially a 6 months contract but has the view to extend and run up to 12 months.
