SAP BW Consultant

For one of our key accounts Aston Carter is looking for an SAP BW functional consultant.

Main area of responsibility:

* BW 3.0B and BW2004S
* BW is focused on measuring and KPI reporting on SCM processes, focused on logistics SD,
forecasting and production reporting.

Our client will perceive you as an experienced consultant in the field of management information who speaks his language. You are the translation layer between the customer's wishes and SAP. You work in several fields such as multidimensional modelling, ETL, Query design, team and functional operation. In addition, you are working hands-on with SAP BW and use the most innovative and efficient SAP solutions.

Primary Tasks and responsibilities:

* Build the template to enable fine distribution reporting capabilities in SAP BW
* Analyze new business requirements and changes to existing functionalities
* Translate the functional requirements into technical design, application configuration and testing efforts
* Act as a project member for new releases, updates, go lives, etc.
* Documenting all aspects of the system (eg process design, application configuration, test plans, etc.)

Technical profile requirements:

* SAP ERP know-how: At least 4 years of functional experience in the BW area

Knowledge of following modules is mandatory:

* BW2004S:
* Creation of infoobjects, infoproviders, update rules, transfer rules, DTP's
* Creation of BEX reports with expert skills (cell definitions, conditions, execeptions)
* Have basic ABAP and debugging skills 
* Basic knowledge of authorization concept (RSSM + analytical authorizations, PFCG, RSECADMIN)
* Have key user knowledge of the surrounding Sap modules
* APO (SNP, PPDS, DP)
* R3 (SD ( SLS),PUR, MRP, )
* Experience with at least one full implementation in designated environment
* Good knowledge of the specific business processes
* Be able to perform reading and debugging of ABAP programs and guide developers
* Technical writing skills to write the proper documentation according to internal regulations (SDLC, CSV, GMP, )
* Knowledge of Test Director, CQC is a plus
* Architecture know-how
* Knowledge of other BI products is an advantage
* Experience with SAP SEM is a plus, experience with COGNOS BI tool is a plus
* Relevant certificates are a plus
* You have excellent communication skills (business language = English)
