SAP BW BI Consultant - English Speaking job in Switzerland - we are a

An international client based here in Zug is looking for a SAP BW BI Contractor to join the team.

PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop, implement and support business systems solutions in support of business requirements for all affiliate companies.
- Work with Global Services BI Team and Users to facilitate requirements gathering, blueprinting, development, testing and documentation. Translate business requirements into robust systems solutions.
- Level 3 design for all BI/BW related solutions (datasources, infosources, ODS, master data, infocubes, infopackages, queries, web templates, etc) including ETL design for related data flows
- Level 3 design of complex BI/BW solutions and recommend best practices for maximum BW performance.
- Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Effectively influences & delivers on time to achieve project milestones.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve system issues, determine root cause analysis.
- Proactively gather data, research and analyze specific business problems with power users.
- Proven ability in project scoping, planning and prioritization skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

ENVIRONMENT DEVELOPMENT TOOL(S) AND PLATFORM(S)

- SAP BW 3.x and SAP BI 7.x tools
- Large scale BI/BW implementation
- 7+ years of experience with the two above

TECHNICAL PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

- Proven track record for the items mentioned under Environment Tools and Platforms

NON-TECHNICAL PROFILE REQUIREMENTS (STANDARDIZED)

- Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
- Establishes and manages engagement objectives, expectations and quality plan
- Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
- Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines

METHODOLOGY/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (STANDARDIZED)

- Master and/or Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry or Bioinformatics OR equivalent through experience. Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
- Additional certification is a plus
