SAP Business Process Technician

The focus of the position will be to lead as a technical and functional expert in analysing, designing, and developing solutions for SAP enhancements generated from the SAP Continuous Improvement area. Will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing, writing test scripts, executing, and tracking defects as part of the continuous improvement process for ERP manufacturing.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ability to analyze SAP system solutions supporting ERP Manufacturing Solutions.
- Recommending strategies that are both compliant and efficient in accordance with company compliance guidelines.
- Working with users to define user requirements, functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Reviewing and analysing solution enhancement requests to determine complexity.
- Develop prototype solutions in a sandbox environment
- Developing user and technical specifications to support development of approved solutions.
- Performing process impact analysis as well as related SAP functional/technical activities (design, prototype, test, implement) for continuous improvement enhancement requests.
- Authoring and execution of test scripts, required to maintain a validated system state.
- Clearly articulating and demonstrating SAP functionality to broad stakeholder group. Translating and influencing business and functional solution requirements with stakeholders

SKILLS:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

- 7+ years of experience required in Production Planning, Quality Management, and SAP
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years of SAP ECC experience including excellent functional knowledge and configuration skills in Warehouse Management.
- Experience in Production Planning, Quality Management, and EHS preferred.
- Must have excellent understanding of cross-functional integration among, WM (SU and HU), PP-PI, MM & QM modules.
- Excellent writing and communication skills for technical document writing
- Global Pharmaceutical industry SAP implementation experience preferred.
- Must have experience in processing industry (ex. food industry, chemistry industry). Experience at a pharmaceutical production facility considered a PLUS.
- Previous experience in a GMP environment is a plus.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

- SAP ECC Configuration (QM, MM, PP, WM)
- Background in ABAP programming and systems development
- Integration between SAP ECC and other systems (example WMS, MES, etc.)
