SAP Business Process Re-Engineer

My client a leading global business have an opportunity for a Business Process Re-Engineer with strong SAP experience to join their team.

This is an initial 6 month contract with the possibility of extension.

The person needs to be able to devise and implement processes & systems solutions that meet the needs of continues changing business conditions. Applies project management methodology to support the completion of key projects. The candidate must have the ability to manage medium to large size, global cross-functional projects.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

- Carry out Corporate business re-engineering directives
- Advisor to functional business leaders
- Devise and implement processes & systems solutions that meet the needs of changing business conditions
- Project manage cross-functional re-engineering implementations
- Obtain consensus of all the stakeholders on solutions, approach and priorities.
- Provide expertise in change management
- Drive changes to meet business needs pursuing a model of continuous improvement
- Work with Management to align projects to strategy
- Provide clear and sustaining status reporting on solutions and progress to all key stakeholders on multiple platforms and levels within the organization
- Ensure process integration across enterprise, regionally and globally
- Research & recommend best practices for function/process
- Establish and maintain professional and open relations with external parties

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist with crystalizing and translating business requirements into a solution design
- Manage interface to external customers/providers
- Handover and train business owners on new business processes of functionality
- Work within the business (usually very cross functionally) to document and gain final approval for the business requirements
- Articulate the business requirements to the IT consultants and assist in the formulation of a prototype or proof of concept solution
- Work with the IT consultants to design and validating the final solution to meet the requirements
- Manage the User Acceptance Testing and implementation of the business change and supporting systems change.
- Create/maintain and lead communication platforms to ensure all stakeholders are timely informed on progress/tasks or issues around the solution implementation.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

- Degree in MIS, computer science, IIPMM or business related fields.
- At least seven years solution delivery experience in an SAP environment.
- SAP Supply Chain experience
- Integration knowledge of other SAP modules eg SD/MM/FI
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodology and the full project life cycle (in particular gathering business requirements & facilitating user acceptance testing).
- Ability to handle multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Good business acumen and the ability to see the full picture.
- Strong analysis, problem resolution, judgment and decision making skills.
- SAP end-user experience is required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to display a high degree of professionalism in dealing with senior management and users.
