SAP BUSINESS OBJECTS MIGRATION SPECIALIST
Our client needs a Business Object and Cognos Functional Expert to prepare our BI to COGNOS migration. He/She will join the Business Intelligence team.
The mission of this team is among other things to develop and maintain the BI assets (DWHs, data marts, BO universes,).
Role:
- In the context of the migration from BOXI 3 to Cognos 10.2 the candidate must be able analyze Business Objects reports and universes as-is situation and together with BI team define migration waves, communication and migration cost estimation.
Education:
- Bachelor/Master in informatics - Engineer/Commercial engineer.
Languages:
- English + French and/or Dutch
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in BOXI.
Technical Skills:
Mandatory:
- Business Objects expert knowledge (data model, universe design, reports design).
- Business Objects SDK knowledge to automate some in-house discovery tools.
- Oracle, MSSQL databases knowledge
- Precision and clarity (orally and written).
- Communicative (with team members and with other colleagues, our clients & other partners).
- Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferable:
- Cognos 10.2 reports, dashboard, framework design knowledge.
- Experience in Business Objects to Cognos migration
Business experience:
Mandatory:
- Experience with working in a complex organization.
Preferable:
- Experience in the banking sector.
