SAP BUSINESS OBJECTS DEVELOPER

One of our well known clients is looking for an experienced SAP Business Objects Developer for an exciting new 6 month contract opportunity.

This is an exciting new project with a fun and exciting worldwide company. They have embarked on a fresh SAP implementation of a Global template. This role will be the ideal location for Geelong based candidates.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Engagement with key business users and project stakeholders to gather and document reporting requirements.
- Development of report design documents.
- Universe design and meta-Datamodelling.
- Technical development of new reports using Business Objects WebIntelligence.
- Migration of reports from Cognos (Powerplay and Report Studio) to Business Objects WebIntelligence.
- Management of BI deliverables against project schedule.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Extensive development experience with Business Objects Designer and WebIntelligence products.
- Previous experience working with SAP, including a solid understanding of the SAP data structures
- Experience pulling data straight from ECC6 through to Business Objects
- Previous experience with Business Objects Data Services
- Strong SQL skills
- Strong understanding of Business Intelligence Methodologies
- Strong business process and functional analysis skills
- Strong organisational and communication skills

This role will see you working a long side an internal implementation team and playing a vital role in getting the business up and running on their new SAP system.
