SAP Business Analyst - SAP Upgrade (Q8)

This major government department based north of the CBD is currently looking for an experienced SAP BUSINESS ANALYST to provide functional Business Analysis, high level business advice and application support for a major SAP technical upgrade.  This is an initial 6 month contract with potential to extend.

YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO:- - Identify and resolve issues associated with the establishment of the security module
- Deliver a high level security review
- Provide advice to the project team regarding business, functional and system requirements relating to SAP security
- Document and update security model documentation and procedures for ongoing maintenance and support of the model

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:- - Demonstrated ability to analyse business requirements and determine appropriate specifications of effective business processes that incorporate ongoing improvements relating to:  Business procedures and processes, data management and Information systems.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business users to identify, analyse and document business processes and rules for alignments to business system capability.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake configuration in  SAP ERP with experience in CATS, PM, SD, AND FICO MODULES.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, seek feed back on developments and seek confirmation of agreement to, documented or changed processes and requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to provide advice and recommendations to management on system issues, resolutions and proposals in regard to systems direction.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in the development, implementation, review and maintenance of internal systems, processes and work practices, identifying areas of improvement & recommending/implementing enhancements to existing practices.
- Desirable Skills: Experience in HP Quality Centre and/or HP ALM is highly desirable
