SAP Business Analyst Job

Yoh has a six (6+) month contract opportunity for a SAP BUSINESS ANALYST to join our client in Cherry Hill, NJ.

JOB OVERVIEW:

Under limited guidance, the SAP BUSINESS ANALYST acts as a liaison between business users and ITS projects during requirements gathering and analysis, process re-engineering, software configuration, testing, implementation, and roll-out. He/she is expected to thoroughly understand business activities to ensure technology-based projects are relevant and impactful. Promote the use of technology in the business arena through process-minded software configuration, testing, and end-user training.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follows ITS policies and procedures including, but not limited to, Change Control, project management methodology, SOX controls.
- Drives continuous process improvement of internal ITS processes in order to meet changing business unit conditions.
- Identifies processes for improvement, documents existing processes, identifies and analyzes gaps between current processes and the desired state, designs new processes, develops process performance measures and plans the transition to a new process.
- Sometimes leads efforts to improve these internal processes.
- Develops good working relationships with end user organizations and functions as the end users' representative on technology issues.
- Gathers/documents system requirements from users for software selection and development projects.
- Analyzes and documents business processes relevant to systems projects and improves processes where appropriate.
- Develops business process scripts, use cases, etc. used for configuring software to meet the needs of the user community.
- Develops and executes software testing scripts.
- Executes change management tasks in systems projects including communication to key user communities, providing subject matter expertise, providing training and documentation where appropriate.
- Provides implementation and roll-out support to users.

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required in a computer-related field. In lieu of computer-related degree, under-graduate degrees in other fields may be considered in conjunction with equivalent work experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to absorb and present large amounts of detail through various forms of communications to any level of IT management or technical role.
- Ability to facilitate and lead discussions in a mixed technical and business team environment.
- Exposure to Affordable Care Act is a plus.
- Person needs to have solid business analysis skills.
- SAP and HR experience a plus.
