Position Title: SAP Business Analyst

Duration: Contract- 1 year

Location: Alpharetta, GA 30004

Our client is seeking a Business Analyst for a 1 year contract in Alpharetta, GA. The SAP Business Analyst will be responsible for devising/modifying procedures and processes to solve complex business problems. This position will also write detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify information systems and/or processes. Responsibilities also include analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper functional requirement specifications. Candidates should be skilled with data mapping, process modeling, and requirements gathering.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for coordinating the analysis, preparation, and planning activities of all Project Requests and Business Cases.
- Perform quality assurance testing for all programs, created or modified, plus any other applications affected.
- Represents the interests of the project sponsor, the ultimate users of the system/process and the corporate strategy as a whole.
- Key partner with the Project Manager, Business Owners and Systems Developers.
- Have a solid understanding of requirements and serve as the primary interface between Business Owners, Team Leaders and all functional areas involved.
- Support the collection of information for the diagramming of the as is and to be processes. Diagram these processes and perform a gap analysis.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree or BA Certification preferred
- Four or more years in business analysis involving process design and software modification
- SAP Experience a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical thought process with proven root cause analysis skills, the ability to document business and data rules and requirements, and an aptitude to learn quickly.
- Business analysis skills with a focus on business process, data and integration.
- Proven analytical and root cause analysis skills.
