SAP BPC PLanning Implementation

The project manager is a delivery lead, and needs to have SAP BPC knowledge, or equivalent in the EPM domain. As delivery lead they needs to manage the offshore delivery team, and is key point for the Project Sponsor (Steering Committee) and PMO. First 1,5 years needs decicated project manager, integrator team size is 10 FTEs in Yr1, 20 FTEs in Yr2.

The project manager will have a functional SAP BPC SME supporting him on site, but given small sized team and nature of the project (challenging workshops to be conducted with demanding business) a background in SAP BPC is required. Strong managerial skills needed as well due to need to manage the integrator team as well as 3rd party managed contract parties such as Tech Mahindra who are contracted by the client to provide unbiased testing services.

Project Manager role description:

- Strong project management skills for:
- Full stack responsibility, meaning the integrator is responsible for managing:
- the clients internal resources team
- the client's retained IT organisation
- managed contract parties:
- Tech Mahindra delivers testing services to the client through a test service catalogue model. In sprint testing will be provided through a Tech Mahindra resource who will be an integral part of the team. Performance testing will be provided through the test service catalogue by a separate team from Tech Mahindra
- Wipro delivers security and administrator services through a service catalogue model. Security testing is not in scope. Admin services like batch creation of user accounts are in scope.
- A transition from a US subcontractor to the integrator staff in month 3 of the project
- As per clients feedback business domains will be demanding towards the project team, trying to continue their current way of working. Current way of working is highly customized, not standardized, Excel and all kinds of self-built tooling based, diverse technology landscape, etc.
- The project manager needs to have a background in EPM (preferably SAP BPC) in order to steer, guide and facilitate workshops for requirements gathering, developing a standard template, avoiding high levels of customization.
- Project Manager should be comfortable with Agile/Scrum based development technologies
- Long term commitment (roadmap implementation of 22 months)
- Project Manager will be participating in project steerco and is responsible for management reporting as input into the steerco.
