SAP BPC Consultant

SAP BPC Consultant required for a 3 month contract based in Central London, with travel to Hemel Hempstead required. This is a great opportunity to work within our Central Government client.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

- Examine a particular business requirement and define the workflow and business processes.
- Hold workshops with the relevant business areas to glean required information in order to logically work through this information and create useable documents (ie process flows).
- Make constructive but objective analysis of processes and method within well-established areas where elements may be assumed or applied without question.
- Provide guidance to the business areas for the creation of necessary documents.
- Identify and define the root of a problem and recommend workable solutions, with possible process improvements
- Match potential systems development with future process demand.
- Explore the options available, present the benefits and disadvantages of the available options (giving consideration to the business impact) and recommend the most suitable approach.
- Identify and explain interdependencies that may occur between SAP modules and different business areas.
- Write clear requirements, specifications and documentation so strong written communication skills are also required.
- Make recommendations on improving processes. The decision to implement change will rest at higher management levels.
- Perform approved configuration changes.

KEY TASKS:

- Requirement for two skilled SAP BPC interims to deliver Resource Account Consolidation on SAP BPC
- The successful candidates must have strong focus on development and delivery of BPC Consolidation and have experience of Two project life cycles for the implementation/development of BPC (v10 NW) Consolidation/Elimination etc. (including core project aspects of Assess, Specify, Design, Document, Develop, Communicate, Implement)
- Provision of advice to produce a robust and long term solution Working in the Public Sector
- Working and delivering to tight deadlines in a busy financial environment
- Working with strong, intelligent users/customers, project team members, stakeholders and senior management
- Challenging specifications, requirements, approach methods and delivery solutions
- Designing and developing BPC reports, input schedules, data loads/data manager work packages, transformations, conversions
- Presenting and justification of technical proposals
- Design and Implementation of BPF's
- Developing BW (NW 7.31) BPC info providers
- Logic Script creation
- This role will require split working between Central London (Victoria) and Hemel Hempstead
