SAP BODS Technical Architect DQM

ROLE:
The role of the BODS Technical Architect includes the overall development, construction and enhancement of applications according to functional requirements, encompassing best practices and latest standards.
Liaise with the Process owners and other work streams where required.
Work closely with the functional analyst to write or review the technical design in line with functional specifications.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides architecture support and technical activities for the BODS DQM platform
2. Participates in technical feasibility review and in POC.
3. Provide installation document for the DQM platform set up.
4. Responsible for Architecture design document, creates architecture deliverables, participates in ARM/DRM and ensures solution adheres to agreed design
5. Customize DQM jobs when needed, Integrate DQM jobs through web services.
6. Collaborate and support promote to production activities
7. Active participation in architect networks and leverages colleagues as needed
8. Provides mentoring/KT to developers and specialists
9. Primary focus is on technical items, not coordination
10. Should have BODS DQM (address validation) background, detailed architecture experience in specific areas and standard functional understanding. Recognized as expert amongst peers.
11. Could provide BODS architecture expertise to other BODS platform.
KNOWLEDGE AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:
KNOWLEDGE
* Knowledge of BODS 4.1 & DQM 4.0
* Knowledge of BODS Web Services integration
* Knowledge of BODS integration with SAP
* Architecture Knowledge
Candidates are expected to have a good architecture knowledge in large scale environment as well as a good SCRUM methodology knowledge. Candidates should have semi-advanced level of functional knowledge, standard level of experience with BODS DQM understanding of project management principles/discipline and good communication.
Key skills
* Senior BODS specialist with minimum 5-year experience in full end to end cycle projects.
* Strong BODS architecture skills utilizing best practices and latest development standards.
* Strong BODS DQM technical expertise.
* Strong interpersonal skills and problem solving skills
* Ability to assimilate information rapidly
* Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Fluent in English (writing and speaking)
