SAP BODS Technical Architect

For a major international client in the Lausanne area, we are looking for a:

SAP BODS TECHNICAL ARCHITECT

The BODS Technical architect will be in charge of the BODS architecture, the BODS development and promotion standards, guidelines, and processes. You will provide high level design, review detailed designed and perform QA of deliverables. You will evaluate and support the roll-out of BODS upgrade, support and fix packs. You will propose and evaluate and support the evolution of the BODS architecture. You will coordinate with the SAP team to resolve issues impacting BODS architecture and development.

Responsibilities will include:

- Architecture support and technical activities (upgrade, fix pack support pack evaluation and roll-out, issue resolution, architecture evolution evaluation and roll out, Integration with other applications)
- Technical support for the development team, including design review and the coordination of incident resolution
- Technical coordination support, including detailed planning and follow-up of the technical and development activities, coordination with other teams and acting as point of contact for BODS development projects 

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

- At least 3-years of experience in full end-to-end cycle projects
- Strong BODS architecture skills utilising best practices and latest development standards
- Strong BODS technical expertise
- Knowledge of BODS 4.1
- Knowledge of BODS integration with SAP
- Knowledge of SQL Server 2005 & 2008, Oracle 11g
- Architecture Knowledge

THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION WITH AN INTERNATIONAL CLIENT TO THE END OF 2013 IN THE FIRST INSTANCE, WITH A GOOD CHANCE OF EXTENSION INTO 2014. THE CLIENT IS LOCATED ON LAKE GENEVA, IN LAUSANNE. INFO-TECH WILL PROVIDE ADVICE AND SUPPORT THROUGH YOUR RELOCATION IF YOU ARE WORKING IN SWITZERLAND FOR THE FIRST TIME.
