SAP BO (XCELSIUS) DEVELOPER
On behalf of our client, a leading provider of information technology, consulting, and business process outsourcing services, dedicated to helping the world's leading companies build stronger businesses, we are looking for An SAP BO Developer who can start as soon as possible.
Job Summary
The SAP BusinessObject Consultant's primary role is to deliver all aspect of the information creation process utilising the SAP BusinessObject solution to satisfy the business requirements.
The role expectation is that the consultant is a seasoned solution expert in all aspect and functionality of the SAP BusinessObject products including Data Modeling, Data Extraction, Building Universe and Information Presentation via BO reports.
Main Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Work with client IT team to identify technology choice (SAP BW/BO)
- Work with offshore team to develop estimation and proposal
- Complete ownership for Front End (Xcelsius) delivery (proposal/project)
- Review URS received from business interms of the technical feasibility and limitations
- Develops Front End design and technical specification documents
- Configuring the Universes,
- Support offshore team in development
- Support of business staff regarding realization of business demands, system handling, continuous demand management and development of changes (customizing)
- Develops detailed design (customizing) and technical specification documents
- Configuring the reports utilizing SAP BO functionalities
- Testing of newly developed solution
- Support of business staff regarding realization of business demands, system handling, continuous demand management and development of changes (customizing)
TECHNICAL SKILLS & SPECIALISATION:
- Strong Business Objects technical knowledge
- Working knowledge and experience in BO Front End tools (mainly Xcelsius)
- Expertise on SAP BusinessObject XI R2 and 3.1 (preferably BO XI 3.1)
- Expertise on multidimensional modelling
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Extensive experience with Universe and Reports/dashboards development
- Experience with fine tuning
- Exposure to Pharma process and KPI (Finance, Manufacturing and Supply Chain)
- Knowledge of application software tools, including presentation, spreadsheet, and word processing applications
- Should be able to drive requirements sessions with client
- Identify and evaluate alternate technical solutions, providing recommendations in the use of new and existing technologies.
- Experience with onsite-offshore model
