SAP BO/BI Developer

We are currently looking for Senior Business Objects Developer at Dublin for one of our very reputed clients. Please fill in the details asked below job description.

POSITION/TITLE: SENIOR BUSINESS OBJECTS DEVELOPER
LOCATION OF WORK: DUBLIN
JOB TYPE: CONTRACT

JOB DESCRIPTION:
To provide Technical leadership in SAP Business Objects to assist in the defining of
standards, processes and best practices in SAP Business Objects
To work with the BI Solution Architect to assist the Technology Solutions BICC in how
best to use and configure SAP Business Objects.
To work with the business to help creation of technical specifications for reports and
dashboards.
To build and test both dashboards, web Intelligence reports and possibly crystal
reports.
Share technical knowledge with colleagues.

Technical Skills Required:
Good years working in Business Intelligence projects using reporting tools
Some years hands-on experience using SAP Business Objects. Focus on Web
Intelligence and SAP Dashboards( Xcelsuis).
Minimum years hands-on experience using SAP Business Objects 3.1
Excellent English as the resource will need good communication skills working with customers
Experience working on Business Intelligence with at least two separate companies
Formally trained in SAP Business Objects
Must know the differences between SAP Business Objects 4.0 and 3.1

Desirable
Working on Finance BI in the past would be considered very beneficial but not essential
A good working knowledge of SAP BW in how it can be integrated to from SAP Business Objects
Trained in SAP Business Objects v4.0 would accelerate the learning curve
Previous experience working in a large company (> 5000 staff) or semi-state organisation or Energy/Power utility
Has attended a Business Objects conference in the last 3 years

This resource will be the contact point for the successful tenderer and act as a liaison regarding any contractual issues or escalation points. However this resource will also need to be very strong technically with excellent SAP BW Skills. This resource will need to be versatile and be able to undertake projects and support work.
