SAP BI Technical Project Manager - long term Contract - State Governme

A highly-regarded QLD Government department is seeking an experienced SAP BI TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGERS for their Brisbane office. You will be an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team and will be overseeing the technical implementation of an SAP BI Solution. This is a rare 9 month contract, with an option for 4 months extension.

Your responsibilities will include (but won't be limited to) the following:

- Manage the deliverables associated with the technical solution on time and within budget;
- Manage the implementation and integration of an SAP BI solution including the security and quality assurance processes of the delivered solution;
- Manage the agreed scope and focus of the BI Implementation Partner;
- Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies associated with the Project;
- Provide technical consultation and advice in relation to the impact of development or change.

Key skills/experience:

- Five (5) years SAP Business Intelligence experience
- Three (3) years' experience as an SAP Business Intelligence Project Manager
- Minimum of 2 full life cycle implementations 
- Experience in the analysis, design, development and implementation of Architecture, software solutions and Datawarehouse systems development along with enterprise reporting and management of SAP BI projects.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills with particular emphasis in the areas of team collaboration, team mentoring, consultation, negotiation, influencing, conflict resolution and assertiveness in order to resolve issues and meet changing customer needs.
