SAP BI Manager - Contract in Amsterdam

Next Ventures is currently looking for a SAP project manager for a BI project based in Amsterdam.

SCOPE:

Our client's IT Services division covers the management of business relationships and the design, development and implementation of common solutions by following a consistent and rigorous programme and project management methodology.

The BI Project Manager will be reporting to the Client and will support the projects running and occurring on the BI Platform.

The PM is responsible for following the Client methodology of managing projects and all deliverable therein. The PM is responsible for managing the budget, timeline, delivery, service transition, and approval of all related Project functions. The PM works with the business owner of the project to procure delivery resources internally and externally.

You will work in a professional manner to manage key stakeholders, organize Steering Committees, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed business requirements on time and on budget.

The role:

- Manage projects related to the definition, design, construction, (test) and implementation of in-scope IT solutions
- Actively track progress providing weekly status reports and updates of the project in the system.
- Work with Client to review SoWs and negotiate rates and deliverables.
- Submit and track SoWs and ensure correct processing of same.
- Responsible for managing risks, issues and escalations related to the delivery of project requirements.
- Collect and document Client approval of security, GDPR, architecture and production support for the solution delivered.

Required Skills:

- 3 years experience with P3M or Prince 2
- 5 years total PM experience
- Ability to manage 3rd party resources
- Review and negotiation of 3rd party SOWs
- Enforcement of deliverables, timelines and budget of SOWs
- Ability to manage multiple (3-4) projects at a time.
- Ability to read/write/speak/understand business English in a multinational environment
- Must be well organized, timely and able to deal with a dynamic environment.
- Technical SAP BI/HANA/PowerBI experience a plus but not required.
- Agile experience a plus but not required.
