LOCATION: Brussels area, Belgium
START: ASAP (can be flexible with start date)
LANGUAGES: English is a must. French is preferred
OVERVIEW:
The SAP Business Intelligence Consultant will be involved in the design, implementation and development of the SAP BI solutions in the various functional domains. They will work closely with our Functional IT members and related business partners, in order to analyse the business requirements and build the needed data models and reporting solutions. They need deep BI technical and good functional knowledge to develop a reliable and performant reporting solution, meeting business requirements at an affordable cost.
The SAP Business Intelligence Consultant must follow the SAP BI solutions (SAP BW on HANA, SAP BO) through all phases, including analysis, design, build, testing, implementation, and documentation, as well as providing technical and functional expertise in the Business Intelligence area. Knowledge of one or several SAP functional as technical BI expertise is essential.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
- Technical SAP BW 7.4 on HANA and above with development of ETL and data warehouse with extraction from ECC ( ) and other data sources
- Knowledge of SAP ABAP programming language
- Knowledge of SAP HANA Datamodelling
- Advanced knowledge of the SAP BI reporting tools as SAP Bex Query Designer, SAP BO (4.1 and above), Design Studio,
- Good knowledge in one or several SAP Functional domains
- Knowledge of Integrated Planning is an asset
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment is an asset
- Knowledge of Mobile Reporting standards is an asset
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Analysing user requests/needs and translate them into analytic solutions
- Translate Business specifications in technical design documentation
- Designing and Maintaining the best BI solutions taking into account the business and technical requirements and the standard capabilities of the SAP BW/HANA/BO environment
- Provide technology advices regarding Analytic solutions based on SAP BW/BO solutions
- Write technical documentation
- Unit test the analytic solutions developed
- Supporting the testing activities executed by the Functional and/or Business testers
- Monitoring and ensuring best in use performance for data loading as for reporting solutions
