SAP BI Consultant
To start: Early March
9 month contract
Zug, Switzerland
One of our leading ,globally recognized clients is urgently seeking an experienced SAP BI Consultant to join their team on site in Zug assisting with our clients SAP BI Platforms across their EMEA regional branches. The required consultant will join the BI team assisting with the implementation, development and support of our clients business systems as well as work with the Global Services BI Team to assist with various tasks.
Responsibilities:
*blueprinting, development, testing and documentation. Translate business requirements into robust systems solutions.
*Level 3 design for all BI/BW related solutions (datasources, infosources, ODS, master data, infocubes, info packages, queries, web templates, etc) including ETL design for related data flows
*Level 3 design of complex BI/BW solutions and recommend best practices for maximum BW performance.
*Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
*Effectively influences & delivers on time to achieve project milestones.
*Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve system issues, determine root cause analysis.
*Proactively gather data, research and analyze specific business problems with power users.
*Proven ability in project scoping, planning and prioritization skills.
*Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills.
Qualifications and Experience
Environment Development Tool(s) and Platform(s)
*SAP BW 3.x and SAP BI 7.x tools
*Large scale BI/BW implementation
*7+ years of experience with the two above
*Bachelors Degree
*Fluent English
Non-Technical profile requirements (standardized)
*Accepts personal responsibility for client satisfaction
*Establishes and manages engagement objectives, expectations and quality plan
*Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
*Quick learner, motivated self-starter
*Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
*Additional certification is a plus
