SAP BI & BOBJ Developer - (DoD Clearance) Job

SAP BI & BOBJ DEVELOPER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity for Yoh's client in Alexandria, Virginia.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Support the business requirements gathering from the users and participate in the development of functional specifications. Work with the Lead Technical Architect, The Technical Lead to design BI applications for the users and following the SDLC methodology.
- Be the SAP Business Objects Reports Developer Subject Matter Expert with experience designing and deploying large SAP Business Objects implementations pulling from multiple data sources (including but not limited to ECC, BW, Oracle, etc.).
- Create High Level design documents, Develop technical specifications, define database usage/performance concepts, Develop user and customers Exits using ABAP.
- Select and extract records, organize data, create, model, structure and populate the Business Warehouse.
- Develops reports, queries and dashboards based on the operational data stored in the SAP data warehouse using the SAP Business Objects tools.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing and integration testing and follow development standards. Participate in knowledge transfer activities and support training development.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- SECRET DOD CLEARANCE - INTERIM ACCEPTABLE
- SECURITY + CERTIFICATION
- Should have experience designing, documenting, developing and deploying all facets of SAP Business Objects Suite (Universes, Reports, Dashboards, Analytics, Crystal Reports, Data Services, Metadata Management, etc.).
- Candidate should have experience writing SQL, ABAP code and BEx queries in the BW environment and developing user Exits and Customer Exits, and using Excel to manipulate data.
- Experience in SAP BO 4.1
- Knowledgeable in SAP BW Accelerator
- Expertise in problem analysis and performance tuning
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively express complex technical concepts. The ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) and to translate technical terminology in terms understandable to non-technical employees is necessary
