TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

You have formal and in-depth training as well as solid experience in the technical components of the SAP platform. SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java also have more secrets for you. You are familiar with the best practices for configuring the SAP platform and its technical components (Web Dynpro, IDX/PF, BPEM, FEH, Web Services, ICM & SOA Manager, CUA & Permissions, Change & Transport Mechanism, SAP Basis & Database Operations). You configure and use SAP Solution Manager in the following areas: Application Operations, Business Process Operations, Change Control Management (QGM, CSOL, Downgrade Protection), Landscape Management, IT Service Management, Data Volume Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, build, configure and test configurations and parameterizations for SAP applications
Implement SAP System Refreshes, System Copies, Client Copies, Exports/Imports
Install and configure SAP systems and/or additional components and plug-ins
Configure integrations based on IDOC and/or Web Services, Interface Monitoring
Configure Batch Jobs, Housekeeping Jobs, Backups & Restores, High-Availability Setups
Start and follow the archiving of technical objects and temporary data
Update technical components according to the support time
Configure Solution Manager for centralized management of the SAP environment
Perform root cause analyzes in the event of technical problems and/or performance problems
Start a Tracking & Tracing as part of a search for errors or improvements
Provide support to projects on the configuration of SAP Basis and best practices
Document configuration changes and instructions for their use
Configure Logging, Log Management and Operational Monitoring of applications and systems
Configure Application Monitoring according to exceptions and technical alerts
Continuously train operators in operation, monitoring, problem solving and optimization
Deploy new versions of applications and provide support to project teams and users
Reporting on the status of ongoing work, documenting and reporting events
Participate in operational (acceptance) tests of applications and integrations and execute them
Provide technical administration and maintenance activities throughout the application life cycle
Participate in second-line support processes for IT Event & Incident Management
Participate in IT Problem Management support and change assessment processes
Monitor IT standards, developments and innovations in the field of SAP application technology
Share knowledge and experience with other workers in an open and transparent manner
